   dell.com–the outlet store–good deals on computers ordered but not delivered….got a $500 system for less than $300!

   Best Buy if you buy it at the right time you will get a bunch of rebates back on it so it will end up being cheaper

   Tigerdirect.com has some good deals on laptops (I bought my current laptop from there). Many people also use newegg.com.

   Beware of rebates though, many places will show a low price, but that will be after rebates.
