CPU Speed: 1.7 GHz

So i have an more aged pc as good as the slow. so i was looking for climb to the discerning resource /laptop. i instruct the tenable discerning converting resource that can run churned programs during the same time. could any a single benefit me out. ???

i dont cushion all a specs when offered for a laptop. i instruct a discerning one. what array should i be looking for?
using it for email, yahoo IM, feeling during websites, store pics, mp3, not many some-more than that.
