I WANT TO SELL MY LAPTOP COMPUTER ON EBAY, HOW I DO THIS?

    Why not buy a hard drive and use the cd’s that came with it to reload it?looking at a few dollars…and some time…but then you could sell it for about 100-200 more.

    First you need to register on ebay, if you have not done so. Then you will need to list your computer. Everything is explained on ebay.com.

    Basically you begin by using your Windows XP restore CD to delete and reformat the partition. Then you can even reinstall Windows XP to restore the computer to its original settings. Doing this should even add a little value to your laptop. To figure out what your laptop is worth, here are two resources:

    At a first glance, I would estimate your laptop to be worth around $450-$600 if functional and if the hard drive is definitely bad, closer to $350-$450.

    If you sell on eBay, just disclose the defects on the laptop, explaining with as many details as possible the problems you have experienced. Also, be sure to indicate it is sold AS-IS with no warranty or guarantee of repair costs or tasks needed to fix the laptop.
