    Depends on the operating system and what use it will get. Vista should really have a dual-processor and 2G ram (or more) but it will work on less – just slower. WinXp works fine with a single processor and 512M ram.

    Two web sites.

    I currently have a Dell 600, I am considering a 620 or a 1501 (Inspiron).
